The Maison Emerald Benefit Hierarchy sorts Virtuoso benefits into two groups: fixed benefits, which are contracted into the programme and arrive reliably, and flexible benefits, which are real but conditional on availability and relationship. Knowing which group a benefit sits in tells a guest what they can plan around, and what they should hope for rather than expect.
Fixed benefits are written into the preferred partner arrangement and do not depend on how busy the hotel is. Breakfast for two and the property credit are the clearest examples.
