A hotel preferred partner programme is an arrangement between a luxury hotel group and a selected network of travel advisors, through which the advisor’s clients receive added benefits that are not available when booking the same room direct. The programme is the hotel group’s way of recognising the advisors who bring it the right guests, and the benefits are how that recognition reaches the traveller.
This is distinct from Virtuoso, which is a cross-brand advisor consortium rather than a programme run by a single hotel group — see Virtuoso Preferred Partner. A property can participate in a hotel group’s own preferred partner programme, in Virtuoso, in both, or in neither.
